Welcome back to Part 3, where we will continue our deep dive into the remaining Church letters in Revelation 3.
Please do not continue if you have not read Part I or Part II. Part I is where we outlined the Prophetic framework through which we are analyzing the letters, as well as an analysis of the first 3 church letters. Part II exclusively dealt with the Catholic Faith, and their explicit promise that they will be a part of the tribulation, as well as a part of the beast / anti-Christ's kingdom.
I'll keep it short so we can get right into it! These Churches are the most practical and informative, as they represent the biggest contrasts in Church Ages.
Let's go!
The Letter to Sardis / Protestant Church
Rev 3:1
“To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.
Rev 3:2 Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God.
Rev 3:3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.
Rev 3:4 Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy.
Rev 3:5 The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.
Rev 3:6 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

[Recommendation from Jesus] Rev 3:3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. Rev 3:4 Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy.
[Reward for the Church] Rev 3:5 The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.
